Help us check 'em in and load 'em up for another exciting Camp TLC, our camp for children with Spina Bifida. We need a bunch of people! See jobs and times below. Most of the jobs are for Sunday June 9th at Scottish Rite for Children (SRC) in Dallas for the send off, but we also need people on Friday June 14th to welcome the campers home at Medieval Times in Dallas. (See Welcome Home signup for more information.) Some jobs are appropriate for younger teenagers, but most are appropriate for adults. Bus buddies must be at least 15 and be able to assist lifting and removing campers off the bus in case of emergency.

Looking for a bigger volunteer opportunity and a lifetime memory? If you are at least 18 by June 8th, consider applying to be a cabin counselor, June 8 to June 14th. Check out www.camptlc-sbant.com

In Support of Spina Bifida Association of North Texas
Founded in 1973, the Spina Bifida Association of North Texas (SBANT) began as a small support group of parents under the name SBA Dallas. Over the years, the service area expanded to encompass all of North Texas and beyond—from the DFW area, to Central Texas, to the Panhandle and out to El Paso! SBANT volunteers work year-round to provide services, outreach, education, referrals, and programs.   SBANT also partners with other non-profit disability groups and companies to give our constituents a range of accessible activities and programs.  Our goal is to raise awareness of Spina Bifida and to give children, families and adults the tools that they need to be advocates for themselves, independent and active individuals with Spina Bifida and to have a strong , supportive community.  Celebrating 50 years in 2023!  Our mission is to build a better and brighter future for all those impacted by Spina Bifida.
