Help get our campers unloaded from the buses & checked out so they can head home get some sleep after an amazing week at Camp TLC! Campers will arrive on two buses from camp and their wheelchairs will arrive on a Uhaul truck. We have to get their luggage unloaded from the buses, their wheelchairs unloaded and then the campers unloaded from the buses. They get checked out at tables, have their artwork, projects and meds distributed at the checkout tables and get to go home as soon as they have all of that and all pieces of their luggage. Volunteers arrive early to prep the area, set up tents and tables and luggage cabin signs and direct parents to parking and instructions for the day. The more volunteers we have, the quicker this process is. Thank you for volunteering your time!

In Support of Spina Bifida Association of North Texas
Founded in 1973, the Spina Bifida Association of North Texas (SBANT) began as a small support group of parents under the name SBA Dallas. Over the years, the service area expanded to encompass all of North Texas and beyond—from the DFW area, to Central Texas, to the Panhandle and out to El Paso! SBANT volunteers work year-round to provide services, outreach, education, referrals, and programs.   SBANT also partners with other non-profit disability groups and companies to give our constituents a range of accessible activities and programs.  Our goal is to raise awareness of Spina Bifida and to give children, families and adults the tools that they need to be advocates for themselves, independent and active individuals with Spina Bifida and to have a strong, supportive community.    Our mission is to build a better and brighter future for all those impacted by Spina Bifida.
